The movie Birkhelai Chinchhas has become yet another hit after Kohinoor throughout the country. The film produced by actor Subas Thapa was released across the country on September 5. Subas himself has done the lead role in the movie which is all about unusual life story of a simple youth. The story is written by Jagadishwore Thapa while Araj Keshav has directed it.

 While talking to journalists in the eve of the release of his movie, actor  Thapa also disclosed his conjugal life which he had kept secret for a decade. He also introduced his wife Binita Khadka with journalists present inthe press meet organized at a Café in Kamalpokhari. "I have kept my marriage life secret and I feel it will be better to introduce my wife a day before my film goes to public," Thapa said. Subas and Binita who tied nuptial knot after a long love affair 10 years ago have two daughters aged below six years. Binita has also played a key role in Birkhelai Chnichhas. Many filmmakers have financially sunk when they had their wives in the lead role but I let Binita do this movie as the character matched with her, he claimed. Binita who performed stage shows for a decade before tying nuptial knot secretly has done the role of a damsel in the movie. "I was nervous to appear in the camera in the beginning as I was making a comeback after a decade. But I managed to do well in the movie," Binita said shyly. Stating that Binita supported him a lot during the shooting of the movie Thapa made an apology if he happened to make any mistake in course of doing the film.



Director Keshav hoped that the film would do a good business as it received unexpected media hype before its release. Script writer Jagadshwore Thapa said the audience who wept while watching late Sri Krishna's Kohinoor would smile  while watching Birkhelai Chnichhas. The movie is distributed by Popcorn in Kathmandu and by FD outside the valley.
