Senior filmmaker Nir Shah has said that Nepali film industry will remain incomplete without NEFTA Award. Speaking at a special function of the 7th edition of the Riddhisiddhi NEFTA Award, Shah said, "Among various festivals of Nepali movies, the NEFTA Award is the best.


Without this festival, the calendar of Nepal films will never complete," The 7th edition of the Award is also going to be held in Hong Kong. Shah was decorated with Abhinaya Siromani title in the sixth edition of the NEFTA Award held in Hong Kong.

However, this year the title to be presented to the senior actor is kept secret. From the chair of the chief guest, Minister for Information and Communications Dr Minendra Rijal wished success of the NEFTA Award. 

He also assured his participation in the function provided that he got time. Minister Dr Rijal was presented the invitation letter by NEFTA chair Manoj KC and actor Rajesh Hamal. Nepal chief of SK production Sunil Kumar Thapa said that despite several difficulties,

The NEFTA Award ceremony was going to be organized in Hong Kong. He informed that the ceremony will be held spending nearly Rs 30 million. Actor Hamal said that the seventh edition of the NEFTA Award will be a milestone for Nepali film while NEFTA chief KC said he believed in works not in tall talks.
