"Kohinoor" the film of late actor Sri Krishna Shrestha has set a new record in Kollywood by collecting Rs. 80 million in four weeks of its release. On the fourth week of its release, the posthumous movie of Sri has been drawing a large number of audiences to the theatres across the country.

The hall management of Gopi Krishna multiplex found it very difficult to manage the crowd thronged there to watch "Kohinoor" on Saturday. The picture below speaks about the huge crowd. The halls owners and distributors said the situation in other halls was no different. The audience who reached the cinema to pay tribute to the late actor commented that the film itself was beautiful.


A few youths who were coming out of Kumari Cinema Saturday evening claimed that they had been there to watch Kohinoor for Sweta, the actress wife of late Sri. They also appreciated the presentation and technologies applied in this movie. "I normally do not visit the halls to watch Nepali movie. I had come here to see "Kohinoor" after its actor Sri Krishna died but the film itself was beautiful.


I will again come to watch it with my friends," said a movie-goer at Kumari. Kohinoor, the film directed by Aakash Adhikari, is all about women trafficking and late Sri and Sweta have done the lead role. The film has replaced Singham Returns and another hit hindi movie from the multiplexes in Kathmandu and halls outside the valley.
