The Producer’s Association is finally ready to welcome its new President after long differences and delays.

 Actor- Director Akash Adhikari will be uncontested as the President of Film Producers’ Association in the election to be held on Friday at the Film Development Board. The actor/producer/director will most likely be elected as the President after no other nominee was registered against him. The nomination registration process ended yesterday.

Similarly, producer Roj Rana will also be elected as the General Secretary as his position is uncontested too. Previously, in the nomination announcement program, producer Chhabi Raj Ojha had been introduced as the General Secretary nominee but he later registered himself for the post of Secretary. Since the post of Secretary is also uncontested, it is certain that Ojha will take the post.

For the post of the vice-president, three candidates have announced their nomination. Keshav Bhattarai, Govinda Shahi and Madhav Wagle have registered their candidacy for the post. 11 producers have registered for the available nine posts of members and the victors will be determined by election.
