Actor Rajesh Hamal was born in 9th June, 1964 at Palpa, Tansen. He is the son of diplomat dr. Chuda Bahadur Hamal and he got his MBA in Major English from Panjab Vishwo Vidhyalaya in Chandhigarh, India.His first movie is "Yug Dekhi Yug Samma" which was released in 2048 B.S. & was directed by Dipak Rayamajhi. Till date Hamal have acted in more than hundred movies.

 When he opted to be an actor his family was not that satisfied with his decision. His father Chuda Bahadur died without seeing even a single movie played by Rajesh Hamal. He is the super star who invested around twenty-five years in the film industry. He did not get married till the age of 50 which used to be the topic of curiosity for media and his audience. He also used to be in gossip because of his comments on marriage.
