Recently, most popular actress of Nepal Film Industry is Rekha Thapa. She is recognized as the main icon of the glamour world. She has stepped the film industry from 2057 and didnot have to look back till date.
She was born as the daughter of Prem Thapa & Saru Thapa in Morang. She had worked on more than two dozen of movies. Her popular movies are like "Himmat", "Kismat", "Kroadh", "Hifajat", "Kasle Choryo Mero Man", "Ishara", "Andaj", "Lanka", "Ravan", "Kali", "Veer" etc. Her movie "Himmatwali" is releasing on coming "Phoolpati" & "Tathastu" is in the process of making.

She had started her carrier from her ex husband's banner but now she runs her own banner named "Rekha Films". In this banner, she is active as producer & director. She takes her mother Saraswati Thapa as the source of inspiration.She is awarded by dozen of famous award like C.G. Digital Film Award, NEFTA Award.
